About

I’m a Melbourne-based writer of essays, fiction, and theatre. Growing up in far north Queensland not only gave me a high tolerance for humidity, but also a passion for the stories of people often forgotten in Australian literature. Across all forms, my work engages with the complexities of class, place, sexuality, and multiculturalism, offering no easy answers but plenty of difficult questions. Whether in realist, fantastic, or essayistic styles I try to explore the nuances, relationships, and displacements of the contemporary era.

My current project is a collection of personal, literary, and analytical essays concerning failure, precarity, and queer identity.
